So this is admittedly a little delayed, but Happy February, or as we fashion lovers refer to it, Fashion Month! Check out some of my favorites for Fall 2013*.
3.1 Phillip Lim
Effortless, punk, feminine, and a little posh all at the same time.
Tibi
Perfectly touseled and layered combining edgy leather with graphic details.
Tracy Reese
Random, kinetic, and fun, this collection combines beanies, florals, leather, and leopard for one of the most energetic and unapologetic shows.
Prada
Full of old Hollywood drama and glamour, this collection pays homage to it's predecessors but stays fresh and unkempt.
Prabal Gurung
Great tailoring and a military influence juxtaposed with fluid draping in a collection that celebrated women.
House of Holland
Ever the innovator, these designs retained their cheekiness with throwbacks to the 70s, but also managed to hold heir own as mature, wearable clothes.
Burberry Prorsum
Kicking things up a notch with a little kink (animal prints, hardware, bold color), Bailey adds a welcome punch to Prorsum.
Catherine Malandrino
The sleek, deco-inspired, and graphic elements of this collection are what make it pop.
Vivienne Westwood
She still owns punk and she makes it every bit as fresh as the day she first took charge of it.
What I love about fall is the rebellious, playful feeling associated with adding on layers and textures to outfits as well as the feeling of new beginnings! Be who you want, wear what you want, get ready to start fresh.... in about 7 months.
