Summer in the City: Part 2

Time for more adventuring! The city has been keeping me busy (hence the lack of blogging), but I've got plenty of material and photos to share so I hope you enjoy!

I just can't help loving Chelsea Market. Not only is there an Anthropolgie whose layout I know by heart, but the food, bookstore, and flea market always have something new to find. I always consider a day well spent one in which I browse around the market, grab something to eat, and then climb the stairs outside to the haven that is the High Line. The High Line is one of my favorite places in the city. It's not only beautifully executed, but it's the perfect concept of an urban park that walks along the city. Not only is it tranquil, but there are several ice cream/popsicle vendors and I finally tried one, another item on my bucket list: People's Pops. People's Pops has great flavors like Raspberry Green Tea and they're refreshing, rich, and natural in the best way. Mine had little bits of raspberry throughout that made it that much tastier! This was one of the hottest days that I had off so the popsicle was the perfect cure, despite the fact that it melted very quickly.

  1. Looks like you are having fun getting to know your city! I like all the photos you took, especially the beautiful purple flowers you capture on film.

My summer has taken me on an adventures through books and movies, and the story I'm working on. Other than that I haven't really been anywhere this summer.
