2013 has been amazing in so many different ways. I both started and ended the year by traveling abroad, both instances for which I am so incredibly grateful. I also spent a few months living in New York City which was, hopefully, just a taste of where I will spend a significant part of my future. It was a pretty magical feeling to be so at home with the pace and places of such an iconic city. To feel like a little piece of that is mine is pretty wild. New York City is only one of the amazing cities that I have had the fortune to shake hands with this year, along with Paris and London. With all of the influences that come along with such spectacular places, a lot of creativity and thinking infiltrated my mind and here you have this blog. It has been a real joy to throw myself into something as much as I have with this, and I have truly had a ton of fun with it. I can't wait for 2014 with Fluorescent Adolescent, but for now, here are some of my favorite posts. Enjoy and stay tuned!

We'll Always Have Paris A post on two weeks I spent in Paris in January with some of my favorite pictures that I took there.
Movie Soundtracks I absolutely love movie soundtracks and find some of my favorite bands on them. Here are some of the soundtracks that I always go back to.

2013 Met Gala: Bringing Punk Uptown While opinions were varied on the looks at this gala, I loved the ways that the attendees expressed themselves with their own odes to safety pins, studs, and the Sex Pistols.
Tuesday Tunes: Summer Throwback Playlist My quintessential summer playlist that is full of nostalgia that takes me straight to the beach, the sandlot, and ice cream parlors.

Sporty Spice A sporty twist on a breezy summer look that has you ready for anything from the beach to shopping to yoga!
Emma Watson's Amazeballs Teen Vogue Cover Shoot I'm still obsessed with Watson's Teen Vogue cover for so many reasons. From the fashion to the location to the makeup, and especially Watson, who is an awesome role model, this shoot is just pitch perfect.

Thank You Note Style I love office supplies and I couldn't resist a post on thank you notes. I always find myself needing them and they're such a perfect way to put a personal stamp on a boring task.
Adventures in New York Spending the summer in New York City was amazing and I could fill albums with all of my pictures, but here are some of my favorites.
Travel in Style Gearing up for a long flight across the pond, I pulled together some travel outfits inspired by some of my style icons!
Dress the Part: Charlotte "Chuck" Charles An outfit inspired by one of my favorite television characters from the show Pushing Daisies

Amsterdam & Bruges I heard so much about Amsterdam, but most people forgot to mention how beautiful it is!
Favorite Looks: Emmy's 2013 The Emmy's had some amazing fashion this year! Connie Britton's hair alone is on a whole other level.
En Route to Primrose Hill A combo post on one of the prettiest areas of London and a cute grunge-inspired outfit.

city.ballet. New York City Ballet's new web series is nothing short of insightful, enlightening, and inspiring. Don't miss out!
Fashion Film Friday: D&G I was utterly swept away by this film dedicated to one of my favorite fashion houses and one of my favorite cities. It is romantic in the best possible way.

The Ultimate Christmas Movie Marathon All of my favorites in a kind of amazingly perfect sequence.
Sparkling Snow One of my favorite outfit posts, with a sparkly dress, pretty tights, and some killer lipstick. It's a great holiday/New Year's look!

What are your favorite Fluorescent Adolescent posts of 2013? Did I miss any of your favorites?
See you in 2014!
