Her Campus Conference

If you've noticed the badge at the bottom of my blog, you'll have noticed that I am apart of the Her Campus Blogger Network. It's an amazing network of some of the coolest blogs around, all with unique voices and styles. My previous post about the Kreativ Blogger Award and my Blog Roll both have links to some of these blogs! Check them out.

Additionally, if you're interested in blogging, fashion, business, writing, and more, check out an amazing opportunity! Her Campus is hosting their National Intercollegiate Conference in my home for the summer, New York City on July 27th and July 28th. It is open to bloggers in the network and anyone else too! Not only is this a great excuse to visit Manhattan, which is full of amazing things to do during the summer, but the Conference itself will be so packed with enlightening speakers and goodies galore that you won't want to miss it! Saturday is only open to members of the Her Campus Blogger Network, but Sunday is for everybody! The illustrious speakers come from the likes of Teen Vogue, Lucky, Seventeen, Redbook, The Huffington Post, and so many more. If you have any inkling to go into the fashion industry or get involved with blogging or writing, this is the place to be on July 27th and 28th! Register while you still can!

If you do end up going, here are some of my favorite things to do in the city!
If you're a newbie, there are the major sites to see - a show on Broadway (Once is amazing), Times Square (only to get cookies at Schmackary's), and Central Park (check out Belvedere Castle).

However, if you want to have some more fun, go and spend some time where you haven't before! Check out Tribeca, the Village, and if you have time (and energy) walk from West to East, going from the Hudson to the Brooklyn Bridge. The best thing I can possibly say is to research a little, but let yourself wander a lot! And check out Bleecker St, always Bleecker (home of Magnolia's, Bookmarc, and more).

Have fun in New York and if you go, remember to come back here and let me know what you thought and what you found!
