Time for more adventuring! The city has been keeping me busy (hence the lack of blogging), but I've got plenty of material and photos to share so I hope you enjoy!

Dressometry
Between intern/student life, dancing up a storm, and trying to be as fabulous as Cher Horowitz (a full time job ladies and gents), I also work with a company Dressometry and now I'm shouting from the rooftops about how great it is. You might be thinking that I'm just doing this because I have to or I'm getting something out of it, but really this is about to become your new best friend.
In an age where the internet has every option under the sun, sometimes you need a way to filter through everything to find what you want, and that is exactly what Dressometry does for you. It provides you with a range of criteria so you are able to filter down what you are looking for. Whether you're shopping for a special occasion or looking for an airy dress for these lazy, hazy days of summer, Dressometry is the perfect first step for filtering through all that the internet has to offer. It even gives you alternatives when you click on a dress. The possibilities are limitless. It's a shopping addict's best dream and worst nightmare because it's so easy to use and makes you want to spend all of your money!
After taking my latest peek around the site, I am majorly lusting after this Nasty Gal dress. The gingham pattern is perfectly retro and the graphic black and white makes such a statement. The styling possibilities are endless whether you go sweet or punky.

Summer in the City: Part 1
This is my second summer in New York City and it has been a complete blast so far! Greenwich Village is my home until August and I've made it my mission to explore as much as I can. I've got an endlessly long bucket list and I've been chipping away at it bit by bit! Stay tuned as I share pictures, stories, and opinions on what I did.

Modcloth Uniquely You: Sweetly Literary
I was invited to participate in Modcloth's Uniquely You Challenge where we are asked to create an outfit of Modcloth pieces based on one that they choose for us. We were given the Abiding Beaty Dress in black to style. I love this dress for a few reasons. It's no secret that everyone should have a great black dress in their wardrobe. This dress has a universally flattering silhouette that's amazingly versatile. I wanted to show off the versatility of this dress in an outfit that could have you ready for work or the weekend since that's how I have been styling everything for the past week since I started my internship! I chose a literary, vintage inspired aesthetic and went to town. I found so many amazing pairs of shoes when I was browsing Modcloth but I fell in love with the Lucky Chic Flats in this gorgeous crimson. They add a punch of color to the outfit, and I reflected that in the floaty Santiago Sunset Scarf that adds a pretty, summery pattern. I love structured bags so I chose the Put-Together Get-Together Bag which comes in the prettiest light tan color. I took inspiration from words for the jewelry, with the utterly fabulous Quote Couture Earrings and the quirky Live Up to the Type Necklace. Modcloth has been one of my favorite places to shop since I stumbled upon it in high school and their summer picks are pretty stellar right now. Check out some more of their lovely dresses here!
