BE HAPPY, BUT NEVER SATISFIED

Spending roughly 4 months in a city by no means makes one an expert, but it does allow for many chances to make a city your own. As I navigated the meandering streets of London and explored a bit in every direction, from Brixton to Camden to Notting Hill to Spitalfields, I had the opportunity to find my favorite places and feel at home 3,000 miles away from my comfort zone. It's hard to believe that I'm home in New Hampshire after such a whirlwind of a semester and so many new experiences. So here we are. The last of my adventures. East London is my favorite general area of the gargantuan city that is London (not to be confused with the City of London). Columbia Road, Brick Lane, Old Spitalfields Market and the nightlife of Shoreditch with speakeasies and Street Feast are all rich with culture and vibrance, filled to the brim with colorful art and equally colorful characters. It's so fun to be in a place with so much are surrounding you, whether through music or incredible visuals. Plus with several markets, independent boutiques, and chains like All Saints and Dr. Martens, not to mention the coolest cafes, restaurants, and bars, East London has truly stolen my heart.Though there is still so much within London that I have yet to do, I am forever changed from the experiences I had and am still full of yens for travel. London hasn't seen the last of me. For more photos, see travel posts and the photography tab.

Keep traveling!
